At Parashmani Jewellers, we stand behind the quality of every piece we craft. Our exchange and return policy is designed to ensure you can shop with complete confidence. Please review the terms below before initiating any exchange or return.
Exchange Process
We offer a lifetime exchange policy on all gold jewellery purchased from our showroom. Here is how the exchange process works:
Visit Our Showroom
Bring your jewellery along with the original purchase bill and any certification documents to our Baguiati showroom.
Quality Assessment
Our expert team will assess the jewellery for weight, purity, and condition. The evaluation is done transparently in front of the customer.
Gold Rate Calculation
Exchange value is calculated based on the prevailing gold rate on the day of exchange and the net gold weight after deducting stones and other non-gold components.
New Selection & Settlement
Choose your new jewellery. The exchange value is adjusted against the new purchase price. Any difference is settled by the customer.
Exchange Policy — Gold Jewellery
- Lifetime exchange is offered on all gold jewellery purchased from our showroom.
- Exchange value is based on the current prevailing gold rate at the time of exchange.
- Making charges and stone costs paid at the time of purchase are not refundable during exchange.
- Jewellery must be in its original condition — free of major damage, soldering, or repairs by third parties.
- The original purchase invoice must be presented. Without it, exchange will be processed at standard rates after verification.
- Hallmarked jewellery purchased elsewhere may be exchanged at our discretion after purity verification.
Exchange Policy — Diamond Jewellery
- Diamond jewellery purchased from us can be exchanged within 30 days of purchase at 100% of the purchase value (excluding GST).
- After 30 days, exchange value is subject to assessment by our gemologist.
- Original IGI certification must be presented for diamond exchanges.
- Damaged, resized, or repaired diamond pieces may not be eligible for exchange.
Return Policy
We accept returns of jewellery items within 7 days of purchase provided the item is in its original, unworn condition with all original packaging and documentation intact.
- Refunds are processed via the original mode of payment within 7–10 working days.
- GST paid on the original transaction is non-refundable as per government regulations.
- Making charges and customisation costs are non-refundable on all returns.
- Custom-made jewellery orders are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
- Jewellery that has been worn, resized, engraved, or altered is not eligible for return.
Non-Eligible Items
The following items are not eligible for exchange or return:
- Jewellery purchased during seasonal sales or special promotional events.
- Items that have been damaged due to negligence, accidents, or improper care.
- Jewellery repaired or modified by any party other than Parashmani Jewellers.
- Loose gemstones and findings sold separately.
- Bullion coins, bars, and gold biscuits.
Free Repair & Maintenance
As a mark of our commitment to lasting quality, Parashmani Jewellers offers:
- One free cleaning and polishing service within the first year of purchase.
- Complimentary inspection of clasps, settings, and hallmarks at any time.
- Discounted repair services on jewellery purchased from us.
Please Note: All exchange and return decisions are subject to final assessment by our team. Parashmani Jewellers reserves the right to decline any exchange or return that does not meet the criteria outlined above. Our showroom staff will always work with you to find the best resolution.
